The following is the contents of my personal journal from my first (and currently only) trip to Israel in 2002. It is far from being complete. However, I have recently been working more on it and have added a significant amount of content to it. By the time it’s over I’ll have lots of photos and links to explore the world I entered in the Fall of 2002. If you don’t know about Kursi, I’ve created a page with some information that would be useful as an overview of the area in which I was digging, along with some information that was published in Biblical Archaeology Review regarding the site.
